The workshop was intended as a tool for debate and support to the ongoing process of regeneration of Historic Cairo, bringing international experiences from which to learn from their successes and failures. Examples from the cities of Mexico and Fez were showcased. The experience of JICA on crafts and tourism was presented.
The workshop participation format was a hybrid on line/presential, where international experts will join mostly online. The workshop aligned with COVID prevention requirements.
