Capacity Building Roadmap
Are you ready to navigate through an innovative route to CH-led capacity building?
Fasten your seatbelts and let's get started!
ILUCIDARE considers the roadmap as a navigation device that connects the planned destination: heritage-led innovation and international relations, and the best way to it. The Capacity Building Roadmap was created based on the experiences developed within the ILUCIDARE project, particularly in the case of Ecuador, and it is also underpinned by a sound review of up-to-date literature. It has the potential to be used as a reference to set an innovative process in which heritage-led innovation and international relations are promoted at local, national, transboundary, and international levels.
For whom is this roadmap intended? This roadmap is created to be open. The roadmap is available to be freely used by organised and non-organised social groups, governments, academics, entrepreneurs, NGOs, etc, to generate or raise awareness of Cultural Heritage (CH) based values together. The roadmap contains suggested steps and information that might help the users to reach their goal, but the user is encouraged to adapt it to their own context.
It is proposed as an actual “road”, therefore many analogies with a route, such as traffic lights, route traffic signs, and route graphics, amongst others are widely used. The route the user follows also pays specific attention to the variety of actors and tools that are available throughout the 5 main steps of the roadmap: exploration, planning, coaching session, capacity building, evaluation, and monitoring. In addition, the roadmap contains several windows with inspirational examples.
Do you want to keep it handy? You can print it out!
This is generated as A3 page size (foldable and printed on both sides) so that the roadmap turns into a real map that opens. It is also possible to print it in a larger size (A2, A1, and A0 format) to work in groups. In this case, it is suggested to print the first page still in A3 (even A4 is readable) and only print the second page in a larger size. In any case, it is always suggested to check the roadmap online, since it has all the links to check.
Even more practical? Yes! It is possible. A summary video of this roadmap is available on the ILUCI-dare to learn YouTube Channel.
